About This Spot
Stepping into BK Khan BBQ feels like slipping into a warmly lit corner of South Asia tucked right into the heart of Farmers Branch. The pace here is unhurried but purposeful, where the aroma of smoky spices mingling with freshly grilled meats invites a quiet anticipation rather than a rush. It’s a place where the soulful pulse of Pakistani and Bengali barbecue speaks softly through each carefully crafted dish, and the atmosphere carries a gentle hospitality that makes you feel both welcomed and at ease.
The space hums with subtle energy—the clink of glasses, the soft murmur of conversation, the occasional warm greeting from staff who seem genuinely invested in your experience. It’s neither a fancy dining hall nor a casual grab-and-go counter, but a thoughtful local eatery where the focus is on sharing food that’s seasoned with tradition and care.
At BK Khan BBQ, the experience unfolds through moments as much as meals. There’s the tender sear of a perfectly spiced lamb chop, the bright, cooling welcome of a mango lassi, or the satisfying warmth of chicken tikka shared across the table. It’s a celebration of flavors that pay homage to the region’s rich culinary tapestries—each bite layered with the depth of charcoal grilling and balanced by vibrant accompaniments like soft, fresh puri parathas or refreshing cucumber. It’s food that invites conversation, slows the day down, and calls you back for another visit.
What distinguishes this spot is not just what’s on the plate but who’s behind it. The genuine attentiveness of the staff, from front to back, shapes the experience into something quietly memorable. They’re attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without formality, which reflects an unspoken promise of a meal prepared with care and pride. This sincerity extends to the kitchen, where every dish reveals an understanding of flavors that owe their heritage to Pakistani and Bengali traditions but find a cozy new home here in Texas.
BK Khan BBQ isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a place where local meets legacy, where food carries stories, and where each visit feels like discovering a cherished recipe while making new friends along the way.

We had heard so much about the famous BK khan that we had to vidit. We went there right before leaving to the airport on our way out of Dallas and was running a bit late. The service we received was first class and all the staff we got in touch with had impeccable manners. They not only made sure we got our food quick but the manager came himself to check on us. Ordered chicken tikkas, bihari kabab and their alu cholay puri platter. I would say the tikkas were the best in taste 10/10. The Bihari kababs lacked some spice and tenderness but overall 9/10. The puri halwa cholay platter was ok, not the best we had 7/10. Nice location, good food and great service! Would love to visit again whenever in the area!
Had a great experience at BK Khan BBQ! The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic BBQ taste. The grilled meats were perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with amazing seasoning. You can really tell they put care into every dish. The service was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re craving quality Pakistani BBQ in the Dallas area, this spot is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend!
We visited for the first time and had an absolutely fantastic experience. If you go, make sure you request Saho—he was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made our first visit seamless. The food was a total 10/10. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was spot on: • Beef Seekh Kabab & Lamb Grill Chops: Perfectly seasoned and grilled. • Butter Chicken & Butter Naan: The ultimate comfort pairing; the naan was fresh and the curry was rich. • Masala French Fries: A great spicy twist on a classic. • Mango Shake: Refreshing and delicious. Whatever you do, don't leave without trying the BK Khan Halwa for dessert—we highly recommend it! We will definitely be back soon.
It was an incredible experience!! This was my first time eating here and first time eating Pakistani cuisine and I must say this was hands down the most memorable time I’ve had. Saho the server was amazing he not only was very helpful and knowledgeable he made sure we had everything we needed. Then another gentleman came by just to see if we were enjoying the food which made me feel like they genuinely cared about our experience and that felt very good in today’s fast paced life!
Great place to have Pakistani food. The food is tasty and mouth watering. The quantity is more than enough for a person. The only drawback I see, it’s very oily. Any kabobs are really good.
I was in Dallas for a conference and visited this restaurant on Friday night for dinner; absolutely loved the food! The highlight for me was the Halwa Puri. I enjoyed it so much, therefore I came back Saturday evening just to grab Halwa Puri to-go, even though I had already eaten at the conference. I specifically requested to substitute choli with Halwa and also ordered an extra puri. The restaurant is about a 25–30 minute drive from my hotel, and although I was told the wait would be 10 minutes, I ended up waiting approximately 25 minutes. Before leaving, I even double-checked with the staff to confirm I had received two halwas, and they assured me everything was correct. Unfortunately, when I got back to my hotel and opened the order, I found two choli instead of halwa. I called the restaurant, and the staff asked me to come back for a replacement. Given the distance, I asked if they could compensate for the gas, which they declined. However, when I spoke to the manager, he handled the situation professionally and issued a full refund without any argument, which I appreciated. That said, I still lost time and didn’t get the food I was really looking forward to. I ended up throwing away the choli and only eating the puris. Lesson learned: Always check your order before leaving the restaurant, especially if you are traveling from far away.
They have limited options and thats how you know it will be good. Their beef bihari boti and nihari were really good. We also tried wrap but the chicken was kind of dry and chewy. It is a good place and their seating area is also nice.
We had a wonderful brunch experience, and Zoya made it even better! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her positive attitude and excellent service made us feel welcome and well taken care of. She checked on us regularly without being intrusive and helped make our brunch relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you, Zoya, for your outstanding service—we look forward to coming back!
